I’ve learned that sometimes, the issue isn’t that you’re not good enough. It’s that you’re not in the right role. When you lean into what you love and what feels natural, that’s when the magic happens.

the lesson

I decided to lean into my true strengths—my love for business strategy and system optimisation.

I let go of the pressure to be the "perfect coach" and embraced what I was genuinely great at. And that shift changed everything. I started creating offers that aligned with my expertise, and suddenly, my business was thriving. I felt that spark again, and I was excited to show up every day.

the decision

And that’s when I realised I didn’t need to force myself into a role that didn’t feel like me. I could still make a difference, just not in the way I originally thought.

the pin dropped

My journey into the world of business strategy was anything but straightforward. I hold an accounting degree and a Master’s in Business, and I spent over 15 years in the corporate world as an Auditor, Financial Strategist, and Project Manager.

But I always felt a pull to do something more, so I took a leap of faith and started moonlighting as a life coach—a role I was genuinely passionate about. But it wasn’t long before I found myself feeling stuck.

The learning curve was far steeper than I’d imagined, and I felt overwhelmed, constantly juggling new skills while managing the business side of things. I struggled with promoting my coaching offer, feeling like an imposter who wasn’t "good enough." The confidence just wasn’t there.

It wasn’t that I didn’t love coaching—I absolutely did. But every time I had to put myself out there, I froze. The business side, on the other hand? That was a different story. Strategy, funnels, and systems came naturally to me. I thrived on them.
